It really depends on what you consider reasonable. There are hotels in the area that are like $40 a night, but the quality is questionable and they usually aren't all that "kid friendly". I think that staying on site at a Disney resort would be a great option. If you are going to Disney, you get all the benefits for your trip, the same quality and service and the more expensive resorts and you get to "stay in the magic" as Disney says.

The value resorts run around $70 a night, depending on when you go. But the quality cannot be matched by any hotel in the area that would be less. Most the resorts in this price range will be very dirty and not make for a very nice vacation. You could do a timeshare tour but this is not a fun experience to have on vacation.

Thinking of kids resorts in the area, three come to mind. As I mentioned the value resorts, most likely the movies would be the best for kids. Then you have a hotel about ten minutes from the park, I believe it is a Holiday Inn. I'm not sure of prices or quality as I have never stayed there. Then you have the Nick Hotel. Which is almost comparable to a Disney resort, but if you plan to go to Disney, an on-site resort would be a much better option for you. The Nick Hotel runs about $200 to $300 a night. So it is more costly than the value resorts, I think you can get a moderate resort at Disney for that price. It's a great resort, nice rooms and pools, lots of choices for food, etc. But again you will be paying more than if you stayed at Disney. But these three hotels are very "kid friendly" and definitely worth checking out.

I hope this helps!
