Which Disney water park is the best?

For my family of 3 where my son and I love water slides but my wife is so-so about them. Thanks for the answers!

My family visits Disney every June and we have been to both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon many times. Our overall favorite is Blizzard Beach. If we had to choose between the two Blizzard Beach would be the one we'd visit. The scenery is amazing, the rides are great with a range of children area's and adult slides. Pick this one....

Typhoon Lagoon is great. If you are traveling with kids 10 and up I recommend Crush n' Gushers ( I think the Pineapple Plunger was the good one).There is also a little playground called Tike's Peak for kids 5 and under. The best part however would have to be the wave pool which everyone will enjoy.If it is so cold the attraction I definitely wouldn't go to is Shark's Reef because the water is extremely cold there to satisfy the leopard sharks (they are harmless and stay at the bottom).Blizzard Beach has probably more rides than Typhoon Lagoon. They have big water slides like Summit Plummet,Slusher Gusher,and The downhill double racer.There are many mild rides like teamboat springs that is for 6 people,toboggan racers,snow stormers, and a wave pool(however not as good as typhoon lagoon).As for little kids there are two playgrounds tike's peak and ski patrol training area.They also have a ski lift to get to the top of the "mountain".Both have a lazy river and lockerss.If I had to choose I would say Blizzard Beach.

Blizzard beach is really more about the slides. They have more of what you might call thrill speed slides. Its home to Mount Gushmore which has one of the second tallest and fastest speed slide in the world.



I perfer Typhon Lagoon which does have its share of fast speed slides but the wave pool is the best I have ever seen. Its even more fun then the ocean. They also have other activies such as swimming at shark reef with stinrays and other tropical fish. Its amazing. Also Crusher n Gusher is an awesome experience.

Blizzard Beach is really fun! There are pools and slides for all ages! There is a kiddy pool and the thrilling Summit Plummit. There is a wave pool and also an interactive pool with ropes and jumping cubes for older kids! Have fun :)

personally i like blizzard beach better than typhoon lagoon.
