The information is got online is confusing. I am in Forida untill august 15 and I would love to see a rocket launch but the Kennedy space center website is totally useless as they don't keep their schedule up to date.

Second half of July, 2008

The United Launch Alliance Delta 2 rocket will launch the seventh modernized NAVSTAR Global Positioning System Block 2R military navigation satellite. The rocket will fly in the 7925-Heavy vehicle configuration.

The launch will be run by the U.S. Air Force staged from Cape Canaveral Air Force Base, not the Kennedy Space Center.

This is a big launch. If the skys are clear you can easily see it from more than a hundred miles away.

There will not be any other launches including shuttle launches from the KSC while you are here. The schedule is always changing so be sure to track it in the news.

The launches that are scheduled for all sites are on this website (includes Vandenburg and Wallops Island) Be careful to watch the launch location. Always subject to change, but I don't see anything through August.
