There is Winter Springs, Altamonte Springs, Winter Park, Oviedo, there are actually a lot of cities between UCF and Kissimee which is where Disney is. Well, actually it is Lake Buena Vista.

Let me begin by briefly explaining where you will be in relation to the rest of Orlando so you understand where to look. Disney is SOUTH of Orlando in Lake Buena Vista which is pretty much a heavy tourist area with a few residential developments. UCF is EAST of Orlando and is the enormous campus is pretty much a city itself. This leaves you with the following nice residential areas to choose from between both areas and a brief description of each:

- Millenia Area:

A nice urban area developed around the popular Mall at Millenia, you will find a mixture of brand new condos and apartment developments as well as older neighborhoods.

- Baldwin Park:

A very nice fresh neighborhood just east of Downtown near the Orlando Fashion Square Mall. Excellent location.

- Downtown Orlando:

The urban heart of Orlando with lots of business traffic on weekdays and loads of nightlife on weekends. You will find tons of brand new condo towers in downtown along with older neighborhoods and residential establishments in the immediate surrounding areas to the north and east. Stay away from Parramore (West Downtown).

- Waterford Lakes/Avalon Park

A busy area just south of UCF very popular among students. The area is built around the giant Waterford Lakes Town Center where you will find every store imaginable. Avalon Park is just south of Waterford Lakes and is more reserved but still popular. Near 408 (East-West Expressway) which can take you directly to downtown.

Here are a few links that might help you with relocation information:

Hope that helps. Good Luck.

You probably haven't been to either church or Disney World but I will tell of the some of the differences you may find more relevant: At church I don't pay $90.00 to stand in line for 3 hours to hop on a 4 minute ride in suffocating heat, get horrific sunburn, loose my car in a 200 acre parking lot, and pay $10.00 for a single cheeseburger. Assuming I want to go there (Disney) myself for a day without the family. It's only fun when you are a kid.
