I've looked at Ebay and AAA and mapleleaf and am very confused now. I have used maple leaf tickets before and it was not a problem. I just want to get the best deal on two adult tickets.

While you don't want to buy your Disney tickets from just anyone, I found this information about "Undercover Tourist" and since you didn't say what kind of tickets you were looking for (park hopper, multiple day, etc.) I would sugget this site to check your options and prices.

Here is the link to Undercover Tourist:

http://www.undercovertourist.com/united-states/florida/orlando/attractions/tickets/

Here is some information about "Undercover Tourist":

"Undercover Tourist

For the best deals on Walt Disney World multi-day tickets, I highly recommend checking out Undercover Tourist, a totally reliable ticket broker with an easy-to-navigate site offering excellent prices.

Theme park tickets are an expensive outlay, and you should feel confident that you are dealing with a legitimate business. Undercover Tourist is a reputable company and have been around for years. I have had hundreds of positive reports from readers who have used this agency, and I have used it myself.

Undercover Tourist prices include tax and FREE shipping to most parts of the world! You can buy your tickets online through a secure server and have them delivered to your home.

Important: when comparing ticket dealer prices with Disney's published prices, remember that Disney quotes prices without including the 6.5% tax. Undercover Tourist prices include the tax. Be sure you are comparing "apples to apples" by looking at the full price with tax!

How can this ticket agency offer discounted Walt Disney World tickets? They buy blocks of new, unused, discounted tickets from Disney and resell them at a slight mark-up. Undercover Tourist is a Disney parks USA Selected Ticket Seller - Disney's authorized program for ticket resellers.

Have some time before you need your tickets? Undercover Tourist offers its best deals on tickets exclusively for MouseSavers Newsletter subscribers. These special prices are not available to the general public and are not published here on MouseSavers.com. They are provided ONLY through a "secret" link in the monthly newsletter. Click here to subscribe to the FREE MouseSavers Newsletter. The newsletter comes out on the 15th of each month and I do not send out the "secret" link separately from the newsletter, so please plan ahead."

There are really only 3 ways to get a discount on WDW tickets (beyond the small discount that maple leaf and similar authorized agents offer)

FL resident

AAA members

Members of the US military

Never buy tickets off of Ebay or Craigslist.

ETA: You can not have a friend buy the FL resident tickets for you. All adults with a FL resident ticket must present a valid FL ID. No you do not get a discount on tickets for staying onsite either.

Don't purchase anywhere except from an authorized dealer, and there are very few of them. That's the number one thing to remember, because there are scams out there. To be sure, just buy from the parks directly. Everbody is competitors, so you will have to buy them separately. There is not one ticket that you can buy to include everything. Animal Kingdom IS Disney World. Disney World is Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom, and the two water parks, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. You can get a multi-day ticket to cover all of this from Disney. Universal owns Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure and you can buy tickets from their website. Sea World is another company to buy Discovery Cove and Aquatica.

If you heed no other advice in this thread, pay attention to this - DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES buy Disney tickets from eBay!!! There is NO way, of any kind, of determining how many days’ worth of admissions are remaining on a ticket by looking at them. There is no indication on the tickets. There is no phone number to call. THE ONLY WAY of determining how many days are left on tickets is by physically taking them to a Guest Services office at Walt Disney World and asking them. You have nothing but the seller’s word that the tickets have what you are paying for. Even worse than that, if the original seller did use the ticket, even once, and is trying to sell you "remaining days", you WILL NOT be able to use them - Disney World now uses biometric scanners to electronically link one person to one ticket.

That being said, there are three main sources of legitimate discounts for Walt Disney World tickets:

* A reputable wholeseller, like Maple Leaf Tickets, as you already know.

* Your local AAA office. What tickets, if any, are available is completely dependent upon your local office - it can vary from region to region, so you’d have to ask them.

* The advance purchase discount direct from Disney. If you purchase a 3-or-more day ticket, with at least one of the Park Hopping or Water Park Fun & More options, Disney discounts the tickets if you buy them in advance from either your local Disney Store or from www.disneyworld.com. If you choose the latter, you can either have them held for you at Guest Services when you arrive (no fee), or shipped to your home (for a shipping fee).

There are also, of course, a variety of time-share organizations in and around Orlando that will give or sell you highly discounted tickets, but only if you sit through their presentation. Be warned that some of these "two hour presentations" have been known to go on for 4 or 5 hours, and you won’t get your tickets until they’re done.

The best two sources I can recommend for you are: http://www.allears.net/pl/ticketchart.htm, which has a list of all the gate, advance purchase, and MapleLeafTickets.com ticket prices, and http://www.mousesavers.com, which is your one-stop shop for all known Walt Disney World discounts (not just ticket discounts). You might want to check out their page on admission tickets: http://www.mousesavers.com/tickets.html

Hope this helps!

(P.S. If you have a future Walt Disney World question, it would be appreciated and beneficial to you if you gave it a category of "Disney")

Sites likes eBay and Craigslist should NEVER be trusted to buy Disney tickets from! You run a very real risk of the tickets being fake, partially used or fully used, PLUS they will be in the name of someone else (being that the tickets won't be from authorized Disney dealers), meaning you won't be able to use them anyway.

The AAA discount is only for members, and it will save you a few dollars, but it's not a huge savings. Sites like Maple Leaf Tickets will only save you a few dollars (in fact if you buy one or two-day base tickets from Maple Leaf you will actually being paying MORE than gate price).

If you buy tickets from Disney World for more than one day, you will save per day. Tickets cost less per day when you purchase multi-day tickets. If you buy a ticket for four or more days it's actually a quite substantial savings per day. You can see a chart showing you the breakdown here:

If you are looking for just one day tickets have you looked into the Give a day get a day free ticket offer?

All you have to do is go to disneyworld web page and click on the Give a day get a day and find a volunteer that you can do (myfriend made a fleece blanket and sent it to an organization) and she got a free ticket in return. Just as long as your going this year!

Good Luck!

If you sign up to listen to a timeshare presentation, they give you free tickets to Disney...or tickets for $1. There are stands all over Orlando that advertise FREE DISNEY TICKETS!!!

That's what its about (timeshares). You'd have to plan to spend at least half a day listening to their pitch. Be sure to tell them NO, and be prepared to be handed off to a manager so you can tell them no as well.

I know people who have done it. Whether it is worth it or not depends on how much time you have to spend listening to a lecture (and going on a tour of a vacation property), and how your tolerance level for pushy salespeople runs.

This website advertises 2 Disney Tix for $15, but is probably a timeshare as well. They may even want you to stay on their property while you're there.

I used a volunteer opportunity to get 4 tickets. The way to do it is to go to Disney website and follow Give A Day Get A Day. Other than that, ebay is a good place if you are buying from experienced and trusted seller. Never buy on craigslist!

Any of the discount ticket sites on the web will help. I find that if you stay at a Disney hotel you get the ticket at a very discounted price but the hotels are expensive. I stayed at Wild Kingdom and it was $256.00 per night but tickets were around $20.00 Bucks. Also if you know someone who lives in Florida you can get resident priced tickets. You can save alot if you get more than one park also.
