I'm asking this question again because this computer was acting up and I accidentally closed the question..

Anyway, I've been to Disney World before, and have also read lots of books about the parks, company, rides shows and everything. I know which rides/shows etc. that I like and which ones I want to do this time around too, just curious to see what other people like :)

My favourite is Fantasmic, it's absolutely brilliant.. I love the parades, Wishes, Philharmagic and of course Cinderella Castle too:) Also really looking forward to the new Nemo musical and Nemo ride, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Animation Courtyard, Muppet and Bug 3D, Mermaid and Beauty & The Beast show, to go shopping in the fun Disney Shops in Downtown and in the parks, Chef Mickey's, Coral Reef, Sci-Fi Dine In, 50s Prime Time.. and much much more!!!!

I love everything about Walt Disney World! These are some of my favorite things to do there:

1. Go on the Primeval Whirl as soon as I enter Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. It's so much fun, and I can't help but laugh the entire time!

2. Take the Seas Aqua Tour at EPCOT and swim in the aquarium with the sharks, stingrays, sea turtles, and other large fish. Afterwards have a wonderful lunch at the Coral Reef Restaurant and finish the meal with the incredibly delicious Chocolate Wave dessert.

3. Have dinner at Le Cellier Steakhouse at EPCOT and enjoy an excellent filet mignon, then head over to one of the preferred viewing areas to watch IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.

4. Try and do everything at the Magic Kingdom in one day and not leave the park until it closes - but it doesn't usually work out. Finish the evening with dinner at Tony's Town Square and a viewing of Wishes Nighttime Spectacular from one of the preferred viewing areas.

5. Have lunch at Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano at the Disney-MGM Studios, ride the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, catch the last showing of the Lights! Motors! Action! Extreme Stunt Show, take a walk over to Disney's Beach Club Resort for dinner at the Cape May Cafe, and then walk back to the Disney-MGM Studios to see Fantasmic!

6. Enjoy an IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth fireworks cruise, then top off the night with a nice dinner at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. I love the creme brulee there!

7. Spend almost an entire day at Downtown Disney. Check out all the shops, have lunch at Bongos Cuban Cafe, catch a flick at the AMC 24-Theatre Complex, have dinner at Fulton's Crab House or back at the Resort, and then head back to the West Side of Downtown Disney to see the incredible Cirque du Soleil: La Nouba.

8. Relax around Disney's Polynesian Resort. Lay out on the hammocks, go for a swim in the Nanea Volcano Pool, go out on a guided fishing excursion, play some games at Moana Mickey's Arcade, and later in the evening enjoy Wishes Nighttime Spectacular and the Electrical Wate Pageant right from the patio of our Guest Room.

Oh, there's so much I love to do at Walt Disney World. I can't wait to go back this summer!

I Know! I don't understand it either. When I was 5, I went to Disneyland and Walt Disney World all in 1 month. It was my first time at either parks and I remember Walt Disney World better because I was there longer. However, I went back to Disneyland again this year (2nd time and I'm 13!). I honestly don't understand why WDW is better...!?! Disneyland seemed to have alot more magic and more rides and more happiness than I remember WDW having. The scenery seemed nicer. Sure it was smaller, but that meant it was easier to get around. It was still a huge park and i got lost twice..haha! But all in all, Disneyland will always be the original. The #1 Disney park in the world. Walt was there for the opening day, whereas with WDW, Walt had died some years previously. Disneyland has the Matterhorn and WDW doesn't. The Matterhorn was the first rollercoaster at a Disney park. Yes, WDW has Expedition Everest, but it was like the 29th Rollercoaster built in a Disney park or something... Disneyland has the original castle built after the one used on the TV show. It has the original lands, based on how Walt wanted them done. WDW, Disneyland Paris, Disneyland Hong Kong and Disneyland Tokyo can never be the same as the original Disneyland, Anaheim, California. It's just the facts. It's all true. It's the one and only original Disney Park. So there you people who think WDW is better!! =P

My favorite thing about Disney is Fantasmic, i think its amazing, but i love the whole feel of Disney world, there is nothing like the atmosphere as you walk around the parks. I love being there, i have been the past two years running and am distraught i cant afford to go this year but will definitely be back next year. I love the first day going on the ferry to magic kingdom and seeing the castle get closer, it really blows me away, i love the spectro magic parade too, its so brilliant. Its just a world i hate to leave

We LOVE everything at Disney, but here are a few of my favorites (in no particular order):

Pirates of the Carribean - this was always one of my favorites, but they updated it a few months ago, adding Captain Jack and a few other little things, and I think it really adds to the ride.

Soarin' - the new attraction at The Land pavilion in Epcot. It's not a big thrill ride or anything, but it's definitely worth checking out.

Japan Pavilion - my favorite of all the countries at Epcot. The hibachi restaurant is fantastic, and the whole pavilion has a really peaceful feel.

Great Movie Ride - it's really cheesy, but we love it.

Mickey's Philharmagic - a cute 3D show in the Magic Kingdom.

The Jungle Cruise - my husband loves the corny jokes.

Polynesian Resort - even if we don't stay in this hotel we spend a few hours here. The atmosphere is great.

Plus the Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain, I could go on and on...

I also love both Disney water parks - typhoon lagoon has the nation's largest wave pool. Blizzard Beach has one of the nation's tallest drop-off free fall waterslide!

I also love to resort hop when I'm there - check out the other Disney resorts. The resorts are where you will find the best food on Disney property. Don't forget to go shopping at Downtown Disney or go to Pleasure Island at night - the Comedy Club is the best!

I love being in Walt Disney World. The best moment for me is going in to the Magic Kingdom for the first time and walking down main street. I think the most fab attractions are the mountains, philharmagic, rock and roller coaster, tower of terror, soarin and mission space. I am really looking forward to the new nemo attractions and expedition everest. The hoop de doo show is fun and the character dinner at the liberty inn is great. i enjoy having my photos taken with characters- am planning on using the photopass system next time and then buying the disc so i can print them myself back in the UK.

I do love many things in Disney.

I love the monorail view of Grand Floridian hotel. I love that hotel - when I become a millionaire I will stay there!!

I love the comedy club at downtown. So funny.

I love the tower of terror ride, I don't go on the ride itself as I'm a scaredy cat but I love the hotel itself, so funny.

I love the show where you can view the movies being made with thr artist at work while you watch.

Too many to list!!!!

It is so hard to pick a favorite. I think that I would have to say the looks on my children's faces. When I am planning a trip to Disney I try to schedule as many character meals as possible. The look on my 1 year old's face this Christmas was classic. He loved all of the characters. I also always schedule the Luau and the Hoop-DE-doo. We were at the Hoop-De-Doo on Christmas Day and my husband was chosen to be a part of the show. My grandfather was also the recipient of a big kiss on his bald head. The Photos are amazing.

I will have to say that right now my favorite ride is the Honey Pots. Simply because it is my daughters favorite. We also loved having lunch in the castle. I had the pork, Delicious. You really can't go wrong at Disney.

Check out the web-site www.allearsnet.com. A ton of great info. Even menu's.

I hope you get back soon,

Have a Magical Day!

I would definitely recommend soarin at Epcot, its not like a rollercoaster its sort of a simulator but doesn't have dodgy effects. Its amazing, definitely my hit from my hol last year! And the spider man ride at Island of Adventure, its fab! Especially for kids but my 63 yr old dad loved it too! oh and the Nmo ride at Epcot is also pretty good! If you like rollercoasters check out Everest at Animal Kingdom! Its scary stuff, and so is the Mummy returns at Universal Studios! I crapped myself!

I love to ride the tower of terror and the rock n roller coaster! One of my favorite places to eat is at the Marrakesh in epcot. Favorite time of year to go; I like the fall (Sept./Oct.,) check out Mickey's Christmas in Nov. or Dec., January and February. The Mickey's Christmas night thing and January February are good for lines.

I just LOVE watching the Festival of the Lion King show at Disney's Animal Kingdom, it's my all time favorite, and a MUST see for me. I love the show so much that I recommend it to everyone that I know, that are going to Disney.

I might be a little biased for I used to work at that attraction. But, yet, I when I worked there, I would be watching this show about 3 or 4 times a day and 3 days week, so that would be about 12 times a week or 48 times a month, I was there for 11 months on an internship, so overall I watched the show for nearly 500 times. And I still love the show, I would come in on my days off just to watch the show, it was that great of a production that I never got tiered of it.

If traveling with teens or kids that love arcade games, I reommend Disney Quest in Downtown Disney, it's a three story arcade. At DQ there is a lot of things to do. Personally, I really enjoyed the Virtual Roller Coaster (and I'm 20), you get to build your own course, select how fast, how many loops what setting, then when you are done... one or two people can get into a simulator and ride the track, and if you want to you can purchase a video of the riders, and the track. Another thing to do is the Create a Disney Radio CD. You go into a sound booth, and you get to put the lyrics together as you want, you then select what beat, what genre and if you want it to be song by a girl or a guy singer, there is a part where you get to add your voice to it too. When it's all done, you can here it played back to you, and afterwards, if you want, you can purchase a copy of your CD. Inside of Disney Quest you can take classes to learn how to draw some of the Disney Characters for FREE. (You can also take part in this event at Disney's MGM) Like I said, DQ is a Giant Arcade, there are bunch of games, they have a bunch of classic games (for the older generation) like Frogger and Q'burt. Along with some cool virtual reality games, such as: the comic book one (I forgot the tittle), where you go into this comic book reality and get to fight the villains with a light stick. Or you have Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride game, where you need to collect gemstones, and find Genie's Lamp. Then there is the 3-D Pirates Treasure game, where you get to shoot cannons, and steer the ship to loot treasure from cities and other ships.

As you can see there is a a lot to do at Disney Quest I would recommend a whole day...or at least a half day (and if you go in the evening like after 8or 9pm [i think it is... i could be wrong though] you get a discounted ticket, they are open for several hours still after words. This is definitely something to look into.

~*~

If with older teens/young adults... Let them enjoy then safe Disney Clubs at Pleasure Island, after a day at the parks, or a day of shopping at Downtown Disney. You play about $20, and that will get you a club hopper pass. Where you can get into all the clubs all night. There is Motions (the top hits club), Beach Club (playing your rock 'n roll, some times they have a live band), BET (Black Entertainment Television Club-playing your rap music), Disco Club (70's and 80's music) Manikins (with a rotating dance floor... but be careful, and be forewarned... it's Disney's 'Unofficial' Gay club.) If you don't like dancing or need a breather, I love to go the Comedy Warehouse. The Adventures Club it funny too, but you can only do that so many times.

~*~

Back to the parks...

My all time favorite ride is Expedition Everest, at Disney's Animal Kingdom. When you ride in the front, you can see most of the park including the Tree of Life, you can even see the EPCOT ball, the Swan and Dolphin Resorts and much more of Disney. It looks really cool at night time! But, personally I like riding in the back, you got pushed around more. (the ride goes forwards, and backwards)

~*~

Even though my favorite show and ride is at Disney's Animal Kingdom, it's not my favorite park. My Favorite park would have to be EPCOT. I could just spend days there (and that is what I have done, I have actually spent months there [on my off days] but I've never been there too many times.) When I go to EPCOT I love to get "LOST" in the World Showcase (lost in time, not physically), and learn new things from around the world. The best part is... all the crew members that work in the World Showcase are actually from that country, so they actually know what they are talking about and know the language. They aren't people that just learned the facts for the job. I find that cool, so when you are done going around the World Showcase, and talk to someone in each country, you can actually say that you have met people from around the world... COOL, huh?!...

~*~

If I'm in the mood for thrills I like to spend time at Disney's MGM Grand, and ride Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and Rockin' Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith. I love to end the night with Mickey and his friends at Fantasmic.

~*~

On the way to Magic Kingdom I like to take the Monorail, if I can, I try to talk to the operators, so I can get the front seat (you just need to be the first ones to ask. The front section seats 4 people and you ride with the conductor.) If I don't get it on the way there, I try again on the way back (I mainly do this when I have a friend with me that has never been up front... to let others have a chance.)

~*~

At all four parks, two watter parks, all the resorts and Downtown Disney I like to play find the "hidden Mickey," each attraction has at least one Mickey, there everywhere, you just need to look. There is a book that you can get that gives you hints on where they are it, with how many points it's worth, the more points the harder it is. (the back section of the book will give you more details to finding them. If you ever get stumped ask a crew member, they should know where it is, they'll either point it out to you, or point you in the right direction).

~*~

~*~

I love Disney so much, and boy do I sure miss it. I can't wait to go back. I worked there for 11 months, and I have been away for nearly a year now. I want to go back, I miss going to the parks all the time. I'll just have to wait till march I guess. I'm going for my 21st birthday. (I might actually be moving down there.).... I can't wait.

I loved The Lion King show in the Animal Kingdom and the safari, but I have to admit that Busch Gardens, Seaworld, Universal Studios and Universal Island of Adventures were a lot better.

Sheikra is fantastic. If you don't like vertical drop rollercoasters then I would give this a miss.
