Comfortable clothes and shoes. I would suggest not flip-flops, probably sneakers are best. Usually casual summer wear- shorts, t-shirts or tank tops. Don't forget sunscreen, sunglasses and perhaps a hat.
If you plan on any late night activities, you might want a light jacket.
There are a few of the fancier restaurants that have dress codes, but if you don't plan on these, then shorts are fine. I believe that these are the only restaurants: Victoria & Albert's, Artist Point, California Grill, Citricos, Flying Fish, Jiko, Narcoossee's, and Yachtsman Steakhouse.

Good shoes. Broken in running shoes (so the insides are already molded to your toes). Hiking sandals with straps that are padded. Any shoe with an arch support and soft insoles. Make sure you have at least two pair of shoes. A rainy day or water ride will soak them and they won't dry overnight. A little backpack instead of a purse or ugly fanny pack. Sunscreen. Carry a little tube with you to refresh it mid-day, especially if you are wearing a tank top. Don't forget your ears and the part in your hair. No kidding, I got a "part burn" on my honeymoon. I still remember it... Even if you wear sunscreen, you will get tan at Disney, so don't risk working on a tan while down there. It's too easy to forget and end up with sunstroke.

Wear cool, comfortable clothes. Also, wear comfy shoes too since you will be walking a lot. If you wear a tank top, I suggest something that doesnt have crazy patterns with the straps (think about tan lines). Also, make sure your clothing can dry fairly quickly (if you plan on water rides), because trust me, it sucks walking around in squishy demin shorts/pants! I always wore a bathing suit top under my shirt, in case my shirt ends up see through when its wet. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat if you'd like. You can also bring your own snacks and drinks too (food is expensive inside the park)
Just plllllease dont wear fanny packs or socks with sandals! That screams tourist.

Cool comfortable clothes and sneakers!!!!! Don't go for fashion when you are visiting Disney.
During the day at the parks I like to wear tank tops and cloth shorts and of course comfortable sneakers. I still bring my flip flops and sandals and maybe a sundress or a nice outfit for evening dinners or stroll along the boardwalk. Otherwise go for comfort!

Wear light clothes that will dry quickly when wet. No denim. A zip pocket is handy as I've often gotten onto rides and wondered what I'm going to do with my sunglasses. Something comfy for your feet is maybe the most important thing as you're going to be standing on them and walking around a lot.

Shorts that make sure your thighs don't rub against each other because your walking constantly.
Sneakers with socks that are a little higher then ankle ones so they don't start to rub against your skin and make you limp.
&& light colored clothes :]
And sunglasses!
